 Geplant war eine Schmalspurbahn, die Bilbao direkt mit Vitoria Gasteiz verbinden sollte. Es wurde aber nur die Strecke von Vergara nach Vitoria und weiter nach Estella gebaut. 1967 wurde die Bahn stillgelegt.

 The company planed a narrow gage railway which should connect Bilbao directly with Vitoria Gasteiz. But only the line from Vergara to Vitoria and further to Estella was realized. The railway was closed in 1967.
