 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1896 gegründet um eine Eisenbahn vom Hafen in Zonguladak zu den Kohlenminen von Eregli zu bauen. Die Kohlenminen wurden ebenfalls von der Gesellschaft betrieben. 1937 ging die Gesellschaft an französische Eigentümer über und firmierte als Société Fese d'Haraclée. Die türkische Gesellschaft wurde aufgelöst.

 The company was founded in 1896 to build a railway from the port of Zonguldak to the coal-mines at Eregli. The company also operated the coal-mines. In 1937 the company became French-owned as Société Fese d'Haraclée. The Turkish company then went into liquidation.
