 Die Gesellschaft besaß die Exklusivrechte für den Ankauf, die Bearbeitung und den Verkauf des im Libanon produzierten Tabaks. Schließlich hatte Frankreich nach der Konferenz von San Remo 1920 das Völkerbundmandat für Syrien und Libanon erhalten. Im Zuge der Unabhängigkeitsbestrebungen wurde es 1943 schließlich auf die libanesische Regierung übertragen.

 The company held exclusive rights to buy, process and sell Lebanese tobacco. Following the determinations of the San Remo conference of 1920, the League of Nations mandated Lebanon and Syria to the direct control of France. It accepted the independence of Lebanon in 1943.
