 Henri Nestlé entwickelte bereits 1867 mit „Henri Nestlés Kindermehl“ die erste Säuglingsnahrung. Um die Jahrhundertwende wird in der Schweiz die Farine Lactée Nestlé gegründet. Bereits 1866 entstand in der Schweiz die Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co. 1905 fusionierten beide zur Nestlé and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co. 1947 fusioniert die Gesellschaft mit Maggi zur Nestlé Alimentana AG. Heute ist Nestlé der weltgrößte Nahrungsmittelkonzern mit rund 90 Milliarden Euro Jahresumsatz.

 Henri Nestlé developed the first baby food in the form of „Henri Nestlé’s children’s flour” as early as 1867. Around the turn of the century Farine Lactée Nestlé was founded in Switzerland. In 1866 already the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co. had formed there. In 1905 both companies merged into Nestlé and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co., which again merged with Maggi into Nestlé Alimentana AG in 1947. Today Nestlé is globally the largest food corporation with annual sales of round about 90 billion Euros.
