Historie (Německo)
 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1871 als Erste Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik zur Erzeugung von Maschinen für die Zuckerindustrie gegründet. Ab 1900 wurden Lokomotiven gebaut, ab 1903 wurden zudem Gasmotoren hergestellt. 1907 wurde gemeinsam mit Ringhoffer die Prager Automobilfabrik gegründet. Diese wurde 1908 komplett eingegliedert. Später firmierte die Gesellschaft als Ceskomoravska-Kolben-Danek. Heute noch besteht die Gesellschaft unter der Firma CKD!

 The company was founded in 1871. It produced machines and equipment for the sugar industry. In 1900 the company startet with the developement of trains and in 1903 with the production of gas engines. In 1907 the company founded together with Ringhoffer the Pragque Car manufacturing company which became in 1908 a part of the company. Later the name was changed to Ceskomoravska-Kolben-Danek. The company still exists today as CKD.
