Die Gesellschaft wurde 1891 als ottomanische AG gegründet. Sie erhielt eine über 99 Jahre gültige Konzession zum Bau und Betrieb einer Bahn von Acre und Haifa nach Damaskus. Zudem durfte sie die Schifffahrt auf dem Tiberia-See betreiben, sowie einen Hafen in der Bucht von Acre bauen und betreiben. |
