 Orville Horwitz Bullitt (1894 - 1979), Sohn des Kohlemagnaten William C. Bullitt, war ein Banker und Philanthrop aus Philadelphia. Er saß im Aufsichtsrat der Fidelity Bank, der Philadelphia Saving Fund Society und der Pennsylvania Mutual Life Insurance Company. Viel Zeit und Herzblut investierte er in verschiedene Aktivitäten, die von der Gründung eines lokalen Blauen Kreuzes (1938) bis zur Finanzierung einer archäologischen Expedition der University of Pennsylvania reichte, die im Jahr 1968 (im heutigen Italien) die griechische antike Stadt Sybaris entdeckte.

 Orville Horwitz Bullitt (1894 - 1979), the son of coal mining tycoon William C. Bullitt, was a Philadelphia banker and philanthropist. He sat on the boards of Fidelity Bank, the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society and the Pennsylvania Mutual Life Insurance Company. Much of his time and his heart he went into activities ranging from the founding of the local Blue Cross in 1938 to the financing of the archaeological expedition of the University of Pennsylvania, that discovered the ancient Greek city of Sybaris in Italy in 1968.
