 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1889 von Victor de Chavarri gegründet. Es wurden Schiffsmotoren und Ersatzteile produziert. Chavarri hat die Aktie im Original signiert. Er war im 19. Jahrhundert einer der führenden Industriellen der Region. Die Gründung des großen Eisen- und Stahlkonzerns La Vizcaya hat er beispielsweise betrieben. Daneben engagierte er sich in Kohle-, Eisenbahn- und anderen Industriesektoren. Zu guter letzt war „Don Victor“ einer der führenden Politiker.

 The company was founded in 1889 by Victor de Chavarri. It produced engines and parts for ships. Chavarri’s original signature is on the bond. In the 19th century he was one of the leading industrialists of the region. For instance he was the driving force in the founding of the big iron and steel corporation La Vizcaya. In addition he was active in the sectors of coal, railroad and other industries. In the end “Don Victor” was one of the leading politicians.
