 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1925 in Kortcha gegründet. Ziel war es. die elektrische Infrastruktur in dieser Region zu modernisieren und zu entwickeln. Das Gebiet war seinerzeit unter französischem Militäreinfluss. Dies kann auch ein Grund dafür sein, dass die Aktie auf Francs ausgestellt worden ist und der Text neben Albanisch auch in Französisch ist.
