Die russische Parallelgründung des Autoherstellers Citroën wurde am 12.02.1912 gegründet. Die russische Gesellschaft wurde damit noch sieben Jahre vor der Citroën-Gesellschaft in Frankreich gegründet. André Citroën (1878-1935), Sohn eines polnischen Einwanderers, gründete 1919 seine Automobilgesellschaft in Paris, nachdem er zuvor für Mors gearbeitet hatte. Die kleinen, wirtschaftlichen Vierzylinder revolutionierten den französischen Automarkt. Citroën setzte neue Maßstäbe in der Fließbandfertigung, im Verkaufs- und Kundendienst, im sozialen Bereich und in der Absatzförderung. Als erster mietete er den Eifelturm, um ihn mit Leuchtreklame für seine Autos zu versehen. Während der Weltwirtschaftskrise wurde Citroën gezwungen, die Aktienmehrheit an seiner Firma an den Hauptgläubiger Michelin abzutreten. Später kam Citroën zur Peugeot-Gruppe, die heute als PSA Peugeot Citroën firmiert. | |||

The Russian branch of the automobile manufacturer Citroën was founded on 12 February 1912. Thus the Russian company was founded already seven years before the Citroën Company in France. André Citroën (1878-1935), son of a Polish immigrant, founded his automobile company in 1919 in Paris, after he had been working for Mors (Mors automobile an early car manufacturer) before. The small commercial four-cylinder engines revolutionised the French automobile market. Citroën set new standards in the line production, in sales and customer services, in the social field and in merchandising. He was the first who rented the Eiffel Tower in order to affix an illuminated advertising for his cars to it. During the world economic crises Citroën was forced to assign the majority of shares of his company to the main creditor Michelin. Later on Citroën came to the Peugeot-Group which operates under the name PSA Peugeot Citroën. | |||

Это российское предприятие было учреждено 12.02.1912 г. параллельно с фирмой Ситроен – производителем автомобилей. Таким образом, АО Ситроен было основано в России за семь лет до основания одноименного предприятия во Франции. Андре Ситроен (1878-1935), сын польского иммигранта, работавший прежде на Морса, в 1919 г. основал предприятие автомобильного производства в Париже. Малогабаритные, экономичные четырехцилиндровые автомобили произвели переворот на французском автомобильном рынке. Ситроен высоко поднял планку требований к качеству конвейерного производства, торговли и сервисного обслуживания, а также повысил стандарты в сферах социального обеспечения сотрудников и сбыта. Он был первым заключившим договор арендования Эйфелевой башни с целью размещения на ней светорекламы для своих автомобилей. Во время кризиса мировой экономики Ситроен был вынужден отдать контрольный пакет акций своему крупному кредитору – фирме Мишлен. Позже фирма Ситроен вошла в состав концерна Пежо, называющегося сегодня ПСА Пежо Ситроен. | |||
