Der originäre Zweck der Gesellschaft bestand darin, die gesunden Einwohner Israels dazu zu motivieren, Kranke kostenlos bei sich aufzunehmen. Bereits 1843 besaß die Gesellschaft drei Räume, die als Krankenhaus dienten. 1912 wurde der Grundstein für ein neues Krankenaus gelegt, das aber erst 1925 vollendet wurde. Es entwickelte sich zu einem der wichtigsten medizinischen Zentren Israels. | |||

The original purpose of the company was to encourage the inhabitants of Jerusalem to take in ill people for free. Already in 1843 the company owned three rooms which were used as hospital. In 1912 they started building a new hospital. The hospital was finished in 1925. It developed to one of the most important medical centres of Israel. | |||
