 Die Firma wurde 1921 als Niedersachsenwerke AG gegründet. Dabei wurde die Norddeutsche Handelsgesellschaft Mackenthun & Co. in Lamspringe übernommen. Ab 1925 lautete die Firma Hannoversche Porzellanfabrik und Metallwerk AG. Es wurden Porzellan und elektrotechnische Bedarfsartikel hergestellt. 1934 ging die Gesellschaft in Liquidation.
