 Constantinople, 28 February 1902, 5 % Gold-Loan, Bond for 2,040 Mark = 2,500 Francs, #B10038, 41.2 x 28.2 cm, brown, black, blue, turquoise, folds, left edge uneven because of coupon cutting, condition EF/VF, bilingual: French, German, Drumm/Henseler/Glasemann TR 2420b, R10. We only saw two further bonds (#10978 in the famous Jens Scheele collection, and #10271) of this high denomination. R10. Estimate: € 1000.

Storia (Tedesco)
 Die Hafengesellschaft Haidar Pascha wurde 1902 auf der asiatischen Seite des Bosporus gegründet. Ihr wurde die der Anatolischen Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft erteile Konzession zum Bau und Betrieb eines Hafens und Kais sowie Docks, Zolllagerhäuser, Getreidespeicher und anderen Magazinen sowie Getreideelevatoren in Haidar Pascha (Kopfstation der Linien der Anatolischen Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft) übertragen. Die Konzession der Gesellschaft sollte gleichzeitig mit der Konzession der Anatolischen Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft im Jahre 2002 erlöschen.

 In Haydarpaşa, on the Asian shore of the Bosporus, opposite Istanbul, there was the head station of the Anatolian Railway. The company originally got the concession to build and operate the port, the wharf and the docks, bonded warehouse, granary and other magazines as well as grain elevators in Haydarpaşa. The concession was transferred when the Société du Port de Haidar Pacha Tête de ligne du Chemin de Fer Ottoman d’Anatolie was incorporated in 1902. The concession should expire in the year 2002, simultaneously with the concession of the Anatolian Railway Company.
