 Der Club wurde 1874 im schottischen Falkirk gegründet. Im Januar 2012 machte er große Schlagzeilen: Jim Gow, der 80jährige Ehrenpräsident, wurde des Clubs verwiesen. Ihm wurde vorgeworfen, sein Elektromobil für Gehbehinderte würde die Teppiche beschädigen. Gow will diesen Fall nun vor der britischen Menschenrechtskommission EHRC vorbringen.

 In 1874, the Club was founded in Falkirk, Scotland. In January 2012, it made a great stir when Jim Gow, the Club's 80-year-old honorary president, was shown the door. His mobility scooter was supposed to be damaging the carpet - a slap in the face of a disabled man. Gow is now taking the club to the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
