 1883 war der Cardiff Skating Rink Austragungsort des "ten hours per diem". Mehr als 1000 Zuschauer waren bei dem sechstägigen Laufwettkampf anwesend. Sonst waren es wohl erheblich weniger - vielleicht ein Grund, warum die Gesellschaft 1915 letztlich liquidiert werden musste.

 In 1883 the "ten hours per diem" took place at the Cardiff Skating Rink. About 1000 people were watching this six-day walking tournament. Maybe there have been less for the rest of time, anyway the company was liquidated in 1915.
