Storia (Tedesco)
 Fuji Heavy Industries wurde am 15. Juli 1953 gegründet. Bereits ein Jahr später wurde der erste Automobil-Prototyp P1 gebaut. Als Vorbild für das Subaru-Logo wählte man das von alters her bekannte Sternbild der Plejaden. Während die regionalen Tochtergesellschaften schon lange den Namen Subaru trugen, firmiert die Mutter erst seit 2017 als Subaru Corporation.

 Fuji Heavy Industries was founded on 15 July 1953. The first prototype of an automobile, the P1, was built one year later. As model for the Subaru logo the long known star constellation Plejades was used. The international subsidiaries had already the name Subaru as part of their name, whereas the name of the parent company was not changed to Subaru Corporation until 2017.
