 Die Freistadt Danzig hatte mit Zustimmung der Vereinten Nationen eine Anleihe über 1,9 Millionen Pfund aufgelegt. Als Sicherheit dienten auf der Grundlage eines Vertrages zwischen der Freistadt und der Danziger Tabakmonopol AG die Einnahmen aus dem Tabakmonopol.

 The Free City of Danzig issued a bond with a volume of 1.9 Million Pounds. It had the approval of the United Nations. On basis of an arrangement between the Free City of Danzig and the Danziger Tabakmonopol AG the income from the tobacco monopoly was used to secure the bond.
