 Die Gesellschaft wurde am 21. November 1900 im Rahmen der Restrukturierung der Cotton Seed Oil Syndicate Limited gegründet. Zweck war die Verarbeitung von Baumwollsamen. Die Gesellschaft war in Cubitt Town aktiv, baute aber auch eine Mühle in Indien, wo 1911 die Geschäftstätigkeit aufgenommen wurde.

 The company was registered on 21 November 1900, in reconstruction of the Cotton Seed Oil Syndicate, Limited, formed for the treatment of cotton seed. The company is endeavouring to dispose of the premises at Cubitt Town, and have let one-half of them, while a mill has been constructed in India, at which operations started in March 1911.
