 Das Islamic Cultural Institute wurde 1989 gegründet. Hauptaufgabe ist es, den Mitgliedern der muslimischen Gemeinschaft in der Region Detroit sowohl religiöse als auch Bildungs- und Freizeitangebote anzubieten. Ferner hegt man das Ziel, allen anderen Menschen den Islam näher zu bringen.

 The Islamic Cultural Institute was established in 1989. The prime goal of this independent non profit organization is to provide religious, educational and recreational activities to the Muslim community in the Metro Detroit area and to educate the non-Muslim people about Islam.
