When the company was founded, the Bavarian brewery operated by C. G. Brabandt in Friedrichsstadt-Dresden and the restaurant „Zum Brabandter Hof“ were taken over. Like many companies from the early days, AG Bayrisch Brauhaus only paid a dividend in the first year. After that it went down rapidly, which can be seen from the price development: from just fewer than 100 in 1873, the price fell to ten percent in the following nine years. In 1875/76 priority common shares were issued. However, the issue was very difficult to place. In 1878/79 there was a capital reduction. In 1895, the company bought the properties of the bankrupt brewery in Dresden-Plauen in re- turn for a priority bond. As a result, the company outsourced operations to the Bürgerliches Brauhaus Plauen and then sold the Dresden property. A further merger of the shares decided in 1897 was not realised. Brabandt in Friedrichsstadt-Dresden betriebene Bayrische Brauhaus sowie das Gasthaus „Zum Brabandter Hof“ übernommen. Wie viele Gesellschaften der Gründerzeit zahlte die AG Bayrisch Brauhaus nur im er- sten Jahr eine Dividende. Danach ging es rapide abwärts, was sich an der Kursentwicklung gut ablesen lässt: Von knapp unter 100 im Jahr 1873 sank der Kurs in den folgenden neun Jahren auf zehn Prozent. 1875/76 wurden Prioritäts-Stamm-Actien ausgegeben. Die Emission war jedoch sehr schwer zu platzieren. 1878/79 kam es zu einer Kapitalherabsetzung. 1895 kaufte die Firma die Liegenschaften des in Konkurs geratenen Bürgerlichen Brauhauses Dresden-Plauen gegen Übernahme einer Prioritätsanleihe. In der Folge lagerte die Gesellschaft den Betrieb in das Bürgerliche Brauhaus Plauen aus und verkaufte anschließend den Dresdner Grundbesitz. Eine im Jahr 1897 beschlossene weitere Zusammenlegung der Aktien wurde nicht mehr durchgeführt. Mindestgebot: 1.000 €
