The national park Coto de Doñana is located at the Costa de la Luz in Andalusia, and covers 54,252 hectares. It is Spain’s most impor- tant wetland. Thousands of migration birds hibernate there and it is home for rare bird species which live in wetland. If the bond of the Coto del Palacio Doñana S. A. was placed for financing a small zoological garden in the area that is today a national park, is not recor- ded. Jeres de la Frontera, located next to the city of Cádiz, has a small animal park. It was founded by Don Alberto Duran Tejera in 1953. The zoo has round about 3 hectare. It was called Parque Zoológico de Jerez de la Frontera in the first time, and Zoológico y Jardín Botá- nico Alberto Durán later. Today, it is known as Zoobotánico Jerez.
