R12! As first German city, Pyrmont was given a casino licence by the margrave in 1727. But the casino existed not long. The Prince of Wal- deck undertook an attempt to revive the Bad Pyrmont casino tradition at round about 1860. The Royal Kurhaus was built in style of neo- classicism in 1898/99. A spa hotel was built between 1905 and 1909. The 5 star Hotel Steigenberger has been located in this hotel since 1993. R12! Bereits 1727 erhielt Pyrmont als erste deutsche Stadt von Markgrafen die Lizenz zum Spielbetrieb. Die Spielbank existierte jedoch nicht lange. Um 1860 unternahm der Fürst von Waldeck den Versuch, die Spielbanktradition in Pyrmont wieder aufleben zu lassen. 1898/99 wurde das Fürstliche Kurhaus im Stil des Neoklassizismus errichtet. Zwischen 1905 und 1909 folgte ein Kurhotel. Seit 1993 befindet sich darin das 5-Sterne-Hotel Steigenberger. Mindestgebot: 1.250 €
