 Das Unternehmen wurde am 16. März 1923 als E. M. Y. Trust Ld. gegründet. Im November 1928 wurde die Firma in eine börsennotierte Aktiengesellschaft namens Embassy Wine and Club Company, Limited geändert. Die Gesellschaft war Eigentümer der Embassy Club Ld. und erwarb 1928 das Wein-, Alkohol- und Zigarrengeschäft von L. Naitré.
Histoire (Anglais)
 The company was registered as E. M. Y. Trust Ld. on 16 March 1923. The company was converted into public company and its name was changed to Embassy Wine and Club Company, Limited in November 1928. The company owned the Embassy Club Ld. It and acquired the wine, spirit and cigar business of L. Naitré in 1928.
