 British Phototone war ein „Sound-on-Disc“-System mit 12-Zoll-Schallplatten, die mit einem Film synchronisiert waren. Gegründet im Juni 1928 wurden dann insgesamt 12 mit British Phototone unterstützte Filme veröffentlicht, ehe das Unternehmen bald schon wieder das Geschäft aufgab.
Histoire (Anglais)
 British Phototone was a sound-on-disc system using 12-inch phonograph records synchronized with a film. Founded in June 1928, British Phototone released 12 films before going out of business.
