 Die Bank wurde am 24.05.1889 auf Initiative der Deutschen Bank gegründet. Zweck war es, die Kassen der Compania Madrileña de Electricidad zu füllen. Am 01.05.1894 wurde die Gesellschaft in Gullermo Vogel y Cia. umfirmiert.
