Histoire (Allemand)
 Die Postal Telegraph Company wurde 1881 gegründet und war ein größerer Betreiber eines Telegrafen- und Fernschreibnetzes. Die Firma änderte ihren Namen 1884 in Postal Telegraph-Cable Company sowie 1938 in Postal Telegraph, Inc., ehe sie 1943 schließlich Teil von Western Union wurde. Western Union führte diese Art von Dienstleistungen noch bis 2006 fort, ehe es das Zeitalter der Telegrafie quasi "begrub". Heute hat sich das Unternehmen auf den weltweiten Bargeldtransfer spezialisiert.
Histoire (Anglais)
 Incorporated in 1881, Postal Telegraph Company was a major operator of telegraph and Telex networks in the United States. In 1884, the company changed its name to Postal Telegraph-Cable Company and in 1938 to Postal Telegraph, Inc. In 1943, it became part of Western Union, which shut down these kind of services in 2006 - and ended the era of telegrams. Today the company is specialised on person-to-person money transfers, money orders, business payments and commercial services.
