Ausgegeben von der Gesellschaft, die den Court von Wimbledon ihr Eigen nennt, berechtigte die Anleihe während der Laufzeit (bis 1947, Rechte wurden rückseitig bis 1953 verlängert) zum Besuch des Grand Slam Tennis-Turniers in Wimbledon. Auch heute werden Plätze auf dem Centre Court noch über Anleihen vergeben. Erst vor wenigen Monaten lief die Bewerbungsfrist für die erste Tranche neuer Schuldverschreibungen, die für die Jahre 2006 bis 2010 einen Sitzplatz garantieren ab. Eine Anleihe kostete 23.150 Pfund. Dies setzt sich aus einer Prämie von 18.000 Pfund, der Mehrwertsteuer von 3.150 Pfund sowie dem Rückzahlungsbetrag von gerade mal 2.000 Pfund zusammen. Ein teurer Spaß. | |||
