 Die Firma war zunächst in Texas aktiv. 1877 etablierte Gilbert A. Searight in Natrona County, Wyoming, die Goose Egg Ranch. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde das Geschäft schließlich auf den Bereich zwischen Oregon und Nebraska expandiert.

 The companies' origin was in Texas. In 1877 Gilbert A. Searight established the Goose Egg Ranch in Natrona County, Wyoming Territory. Within the years the business was expanded to the area between Oregon and Nebraska.
