George Mortimer Pullman war ein bekannter amerikanischer Erfinder und Hersteller von Schlafwagen. Seinen ersten Schlafwagen baute er 1859 und damit ein Jahr nach Theodore Woodruff. Allerdings übernahm Pullman später Woodruffs Firma. | |||

Original signature as president: George Mortimer Pullman (affected by the devaluation). Pullman was a well-known American inventor and creator of the sleeping car. He built his first sleeping car in 1859, one year after Theodore Woodruff. In any case Pullman later took over Woodruffs firm. | |||
