 1909 wurde Rollschuhlaufen in Sheffield zu einem regelrechten Hype. Innerhalb von drei Monaten wurden fünf neue Rollschuhbahnen eröffnet. Die Gesellschaft betrieb dabei die Olympia-Bahn in der Bramall Lane wie auch sehr wahrscheinlich den American Rink an der Ecke John Street und Shoreham Street.

 In 1909, Sheffield went into a roller skating craze and five new skating rinks opened within three months. The company was operating the Olympia on Bramall Lane and most probably the American Rink at the corner of John Street and Shoreham Street.
