 Gegründet wurde John Bell & Croyden 1908 durch einen Zusammenschluss der beiden Londoner Apotheken John Bell & Co. und Charles Croyden & Co. John Bell eröffnete seine Apotheke bereits 1798. Damals war das Gebiet um die Oxford Street noch dermaßen dünn besiedelt, dass keiner von einer profitablen Geschäftsidee gesprochen hat. 1912 zog das Geschäft dann in die Wigmore Street um. 1928 von Savory & Moore übernommen und nach und nach in die Kette Lloyds Pharmacy integriert, ist John Bell & Croyden heute ein traditionelles Geschäft rund um die Gesundheit. Käufer finden dort mehr als 20.000 verschiedene Artikel.

 John Bell & Croyden was formed in 1908, being a merger of John Bell & Co. and Charles Croyden & Co. John Bell had opened his Pharmacy already in 1798. The Oxford Street area was so thinly populated at that time that the business was thought to be not very profitable. In 1912, the business moved to Wigmore Street. Being acquired by Savory & Moore in 1928 and then subsequently becoming part of the Lloyds Chemists (now Lloyds Pharmacy) chain, John Bell & Croyden is a traditional pharmacy and healthcare store with over 20,000 products today.
