1898 öffnete der Wimbledon Park Sport Club seine Pforten. Die Auswahl der dort betriebenen Sportarten ist typisch britisch: Cricket, Curling, Fischen, Schießen, Tennis und natürlich Golf. Noch heute erhalten Besitzer von Anleihen dieses Clubs begehrte Eintrittskarten für das Finale des Tennis-Grand-Slam-Turniers in Wimbledon. Auf späteren Anleihe-Emissionen ist dies auch quittiert. In 1898 the Wimbledon Park Sport Club opened its portals. The choice of sports being played here is typically British: cricket, curling, fishing, shooting, tennis, and, of course, golf. Even today holders of the Clubs shares receive much-desired tickets for the finale of the Tennis-Grand-Slam-Tournament in Wimbledon. This is actually noted on later share emissions.
