Factos históricos (Alemão)
 1891 gründeten der Saarbrücker Bankier Ludwig Kiessel und der Ingenieur Fritz Rexroth die IDEAL Lederwerke AG. 1920 übernahmen Dr. Friedrich Léon Adler und Julius Oppenheimer aus Straßburg das Werk. Von 1940 bis 1944 produzierte die Gesellschaft in der Werksgebäuden die Maschinenfabrik Zimmermann. Nach 1945 firmierte das Unternehmen als Tannerie de cuir IDEAL mit Sitz in Wiltz. 1961 wurden die Fabriktore für immer geschlossen.
Factos históricos (Inglês)
 In 1891 the IDEAL Lederwerke AG was founded by Ludwig Kiessel, banker in Saarbrücken and Fritz Rexroth, engineer. Dr. Friedrich Léon Adler and Julius Oppenheimer from Strasbourg took over the factory in 1920. During 1940 to 1944 the Maschinenfabrik Zimmermann used the factory for their production. After 1945 the companies name was changed into Tannerie de cuir IDEAL (Wiltz). In 1961 the factory was closed.
