 1891 wollte das Osmanische Reich die in englischem Besitz befindliche Eisenbahn zwischen Izmir und Kasaba übernehmen. Hierzu wurde diese Gesellschaft gegründet. Sie zahlte 36 Millionen Francs für die 266 Kilometer lange Strecke.

 In 1891 the government of the Ottoman Empire wished to acquire the English owned railroad between Izmir and Kasaba. Therefore this company was formed in 1894. The company paid 36 million francs for the railroad.
