Factos históricos (Alemão)
 Die Erlöse aus der Anleihe wurden zur Finanzierung des zweiten 150 Meilenabschnitts der Strecke Paris (Texas) nach Palo Pinto (Texas) verwendet. Es wurden aber nur 5 Meilen gebaut. John C. Fremont bekam auf Grund dieses Bonds Ärger in Frankreich und wurde wegen Betrugs angeklagt. 1871 wurde die Gesellschaft mit der Southern Pacific und der Southern Transcontinental zur Texas & Pacific Railroad verschmolzen.

 The proceedings of the bond were used for the second 150 Miles from Paris (Texas) to Palo Pinto (Texas). This is the bond that John C. Fremont got in trouble in France where he was wanted by the police for fraud. The company merged in 1871 with the Southern Pacific and the Southern Transcontinental to form the Texas & Pacific Railroad.
