Die Gesellschaft wollte auf den Karibischen Inseln Guano abbauen und in die USA verschiffen. Dort sollte es in der Landwirtschaft verwendet werden. Guano sind die phosphor- und stickstoffreichen Exkremente von Seevögeln, die vor allem an den Küstengebieten Perus und Chiles gefunden werden. Guano gilt als wertvoller organischer Dünger. | |||

The company wanted to mine guano on the Caribbean Islands and to ship it to the USA, where it would be used in agriculture. Guano, rich in phosphorous and nitrogen, comes from the excrement of the sea birds found in the dry coastal areas of Peru and Chile. Guano is considered to be a valuable organic fertilizer. Probably a unicum! | |||
