Graf Ferdinand Pálffy von Erdőd (1774-1840), genannt der Theatergraf, wurde 1811 zum Hoftheaterdirektor in Wien. Zudem war er Schloss- und Grundbesitzer in Hernals, wo er ein prächtiges Sommerpalais besaß. Noch heute existiert das Palais Palffy am Josefsplatz in Wien. |

Count Ferdinánd Pálffy de Erdőd (1774-1840), called the „Theatergraf“, became director of the Hoftheater in Vienna. Furthermore he owned a castle and land in Hernals, where he owned a superb summer palace. The Palais Palffy at the Josephplatz in Vienna still exists. |
