Rufus Brown Bullock (1834-1907) was Gouverneuer of Georgia from 1868 to 1871. Before this time he was in leading positions at the American Telegraph Company and the Southern Express Company. After the civil war, Bullock was active as politician. At the constituent convent, in 1867, Bullock played an important role. The company operated a 45 mile railway from Cartersville (Georgia) to Pryor in Alabama. |
