Edison has personally signed the front side of the Share as president. The Share is issued to Edison Phonograph Works and in 1924 it was transferred to the latter based on the fusion of Edison Phonograph Works with Thomas A. Edison, Inc. and was signed twice on the original of Charles Edison (son of Thomas A. Edison) and H. J. Miller (a confidant and private secretary of Thomas A. Edison). | |||

Bereits im Alter von zwölf Jahren musste Thomas Alva Edison Geld verdienen, damit seine Familie über die Runden kam. Mit 15 Jahren brachte er seine eigene Zeitung heraus und ging später als Telegraphist zur Eisenbahn. Zu seinen mehr als 1.500 Erfindungen zählen unter anderem die Glühbirne und das Kraftwerk, aber auch das Fertighaus. | |||

Thomas Alva Edison had to earn money already at the age of twelve to make his family make ends meet. At the age of 15 he released his own newspaper. Later he worked for the railway as telegrapher. His more than 1,500 inventions included the electric bulb and the power plant but also the prefabricated house. | |||
