| Die Gesellschaft wurde am 24. Juni 1848 gegründet. Sie erhielt die Konzession für die Strecke von Manchester nach Claremont. Die Strecke bis Henniker wurde 1850 eröffnet. Am 1. Mai 1853 fusionierte die Firma mit der Concord & Claremont Railroad zur Merrimac and Connecticut Rivers Railroad. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The company was incorporated on 24 June 1848. It was concessioned for a railroad from Manchester to Claremont. The line to Henniker was opened in 1850.
