	Die Gesellschaft wurde 1921 als Bremer Lederfabrik AG mit Sitz in Bremen gegründet. Nur drei Tage nach der Eintragung ins Handelsregister erfolgte die Umfirmierung sowie die Sitzverlegung nach Barth an der Ostsee. 1929 wurde die Liquidation beschlossen, die bei Kriegsende noch andauerte.
