Thomas KcKean war Mitunterzeichner der Unabhängigkeitserklärung und Gouverneur von Pennsylvania. Timothy Matlack war Beamter und Kanalwächter. Er war wahrscheinlich auch der Ausfertiger der Unabhängigkeitserklärung. Die Urkunde ordnet die Ländereien aus dem Erbe von William Bingham, dem reichsten Mann seiner Zeit. Die Ländereien wurden Binghams Nachlassverwaltern übertragen, darunter Alexander Baring (Baring Brothers and Hope and Co.) und Thomas Mayne Willing. | ||||
Thomas KcKean was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Governor of Pennsylvania. Timothy Matlack was a Pennsylvania official and surveyor of canals. He probably engrossed the Declaration of Independence. The document is a land forming part of the estate of William Bingham. He was the richest man at that time. The land was granted to Bingham’s executors, including Alexander Baring (Baring Brothers and Hope and Co.) and Thomas Mayne Willing. | ||||
