| Die Gesellschaft wurde 1869 von Carl Wilhelm Siemens, dem Bruder von Werner von Siemens, gegründet. Das Grundkapital betrug 60.000 Pfund. Die Firma besaß Landore, in der Nähe von Swansea in Wales ein Stahlwerk. 1871 erreichte die Firma bereits einen Ausstoß von 1.000 Tonnen Stahl pro Woche. 1888, fünf Jahre nach dem Tod von Carl Wilhelm Siemens, ging die Firma in freiwillige Liquidation.
