	Die 1909 gegründete Gesellschaft ging aus der bereits seit 1857 bestehenden oHG gleichen Namens hervor. Bei der Umwandlung wurde zudem die Mundharmonikafabrik Chr. Messner & Co. übernommen. Die Firma expandierte in der Folgezeit durch Zukäufe und Übernahmen verschiedener Betriebe im Großraum Trossingen. 1924 wurde unter anderem die Mundharmonikafabrik National-Harmonica-Co. Wilh. Kratt übernommen. Nach dem Krieg begann die Firma mit der Herstellung von Saxophonen und elektrischen Instrumenten.
