| Bereits zur Gründung im Jahr 1869 übernahm die Philadelphia and Reading Railroad die Aktienmehrheit. Nach Ablauf des Pachtvertrages im Jahr 1906 ging die Bahn dann auch auf die Philadelphia and Reading Railroad über. Philadelphia and Reading Railroad took over the complete company, when the leasing contract had ended in 1906. The company operated the eleven miles of railway track between Phoenixville and Byers in Chester County.
