| Real del Monte Mining Company is one of the best known mining companies which were founded by Europeans and was active in Mid- and South-America. The company was incorporated in 1824. It acquired the silver mines in Pachuca in the North East of Mexico City. The stock market quotes climbed up to £ 1479 in 1824. It crashed to £ 45 in 1830.
