| Das erste Faxgerät der Welt: Der italienische Physiker Giovanni Casellini (1815-1891) erfand einen als Pantelegraphen bezeichneten Kopiertelegraphen. Diesen ließ er 1855 in England und Frankreich patentieren. Pantelegrpahen wurde 1860 in den Telegraphenbüros auf den Linien Paris – Amiens (140 km) und Paris – Marseille (1.000 km) bis zum Jahr 1871 eingesetzt. | ||||
| The world’s first fax machine: The Italian physicist Giovanni Casellini (1815-1891) invented a pantelegraph called copy telegraph. He got his patents on the pantelegraph in England and France in 1855. Pantelegraphs were used in the telegraph offices on the lines Paris Amiens (140 kilometers) and Paris – Marseille (1,000 kilometers) between 1860 and 1871. | ||||
