Brockie-Pell Arc Lamp, Limited
 
James Brockie und Bennett Pell waren Elektroingenieure mit Wurzeln in der Telegraphie. 1882 erfanden sie eine Bogenlampe mit zwei Paaren von Kohlenhaltern, die sie ihren Nachnamen entsprechend Brockie-Pell Arc Lamp nannten. Sie gründeten zudem eine eigene Gesellschaft, die die Rechte an der Produktion der Lampen hielt.
James Brockie and Bennett Pell were electrical engineers, both with roots in the telegraph business. In 1882, they invented an arc lamp using two pairs of carbons, called the Brockie-Pell Arc Lamp. A separate company with the same name was formed to acquire the rights of manufacturing this lamp.
