The share features nice symbolic, allegoric and figured depictions which seem to be engraved in a very fine manner. Furthermore, three vignettes are visible in the top portion. The left vignette shows the patron saint Josef with the child Jesus, and the right vignette depicts the kneeling Saint Juan de los Reyes while holding a cross in his hands. In the middle one can see the crowned symbol of the city of Grananda (opened pomegranate). On top of that is the Virgin Mother with the body of Jesus Christ in her hands. Objective of the Spa- nish textile and trading company, founded in 1747, was the formation as well as the operation of sericulture, silk manufacturing, as well as the trade with West India as well as with the other Spanish colonies in Central and South America. The company had the same privi- leges as the Real Compania de San Fernando de Seville. Admittedly, the firm abused its preferential position and, subsequently, faced a lot of difficulties. The firm was forced to merge with the Compania Zarza de la Mayor to form the Compania Real de la Extremadura. . R8. Auf der Aktie sind schöne symbolische, allegorische und figurale Zeichnungen zu sehen, die äußerst fein gestochen sind. Oben sind zudem drei Vignetten zu sehen. Die Linke zeigt den Schutzheiligen Josef mit dem Jesuskind und die Rechte zeigt den knienden Heili- gen Juan de los Reyes, wie er ein Kreuz in Händen hält. In der Mitte ist das gekrönte Zeichen der Stadt Granada (geöffneter Granatap- fel) zu sehen. Darüber ist die Mutter Gottes mit dem Leib Jesu Christi in den Händen zu sehen. Zweck der 1747 gegründeten spani- schen Textil- und Handelsgesellschaft war die Errichtung sowie der Betrieb einer Seidenraupenzucht, einer Seidenmanufaktur sowie der Handel mit Westindien und den übrigen spanischen Kolonien in Mittel- und Südamerika. Die Gesellschaft hatte die gleichen Privi- legien wie die Real Compañia de San Fernando de Sevilla. Allerdings missbrauchte die Firma ihre Vorzugsstellung und kam daraufhin in Schwierigkeiten. Sie war gezwungen, mit der Compañia Zarza de la Mayor zur Compañia Real de la Extremadura zu fusionieren. Mindestgebot: 2.000 €
