52. Auktion fur Historische Wertpapiere Teil 1 Auktion 4. Mai 2019

6 Dear Sir or Madam, We are proud to present a high quality scripophily offer. The 50 highlights of the auction are shown with large pic- tures and texts in German and English or Russian langua- ge. As done in the last auctions we divided the auction in two parts. The first part is the 52nd auction (public auc- tion) on May 4th. It contains the lots 1 to 907. It is our goal to offer in the public auction those lots, which are intere- sting for collectors attending our live auctions. Therefore you will find many rare items in our 53rd auc- tion (online auction), too. This auction contains the lots 908 to 2,196. Please use our indices and our search engine at our web page. The web page is available in eleven lan- guages! At the web search you can also combine your search. You can, for example, only look for items from one industry from one country. This will give you a quick overview over the items which are fitting in your collection. We are proud to offer an outstanding selection of Scripophily in our auc- tion, especially after the very successful 50th auction in September. I want to point out lots 35 to 61: Specimens of Chinese Bonds. Many of them were never seen - issued or unissued - in the collectors market. Several corner- stones of Scripophily, stocks or bonds that stand for a significant financial event in financial history, are on auction: We offer a 1623 issued bond of the first joint-stock-company, the V.O.C. (Lot 632), as well as for the first time in our auctions a share certificate of the Iron Bridge (Lot 635). The Iron Bridge is the symbol of the Industrial Revolution and UNESCO World Heritage. Furthermore we offer the very early begin- ning of the automobile industry, the Gasmotoren-Fabrik Mannheim (Lot 659). The auction will take place in the Barockhäuser (Greising- säle) at Neubaustr. 12, 97070 Würzburg (Germany). Please feel free to contact us for free maps. After the auction, the- re will be a dinner at Backöfele restaurant (Ursulinengas- se 2, Würzburg) only 300 meters away from the auction room. The joint dinner starts at 7.00 p.m. in Backöfele it- self. If you wish to take part there, please make reservation with our office (e-mail: auktion@hwph.de or telephone: +49-8106-246186 ). Deadline is April 29th. The next auction will bemost likely on 18 January 2020 inWürzburg. We hope to be more concrete at the beginning of September. The city government of Wuerzburg (still) debates to change the use of the Barockhäuser. Hope with us, that we can continue our auctions in this outstanding location bejond 2019.
